About Us

Hattian Bala was part of the Baramula district before the ceasefire between India and Pakistan. Then it was part of the Muzaffarabad district. In July 2009, it had got status of district. It is located at the distance of 40 km from Muzaffarabad on the bank of the Jhelum River. It is also part of Jhelum valley that is collection of valleys and mountain ranges around the Jhelum River in Azad Kashmir.

Hattian Bala is hilly and mountainous region with few lush green plains in the Jehlum Valley along the Jehlum River. It has boundaries with Muzaffarabad and Bagh district in Azad Kashmir, and with Kupwara and Baramulla districts in India-occupied Jammu & Kashmir. It is connected with roads with Muzaffarabad and Bag district.

Hattain Bala is collection of lush green and beautiful valleys, which attract several tourists each year. In which Leepa, Reshian, Bharyan, Chikkar, and Chinari are famous. These valleys are located around the Jehlum River. Small roads lead toward these valleys from the main road.

The sole purpose of this website is to facilitate all the stakeholders including lawyers and litigants. In initial phase, this website will provide a quick access to information about litigation pending before district Courts at Muzaffarabad, including daily cause list and day by day progress of the cases. Courts at Muzaffarabad are functioning under the supervision of the High Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. District and Sessions Judge, is administrative head on all the subordinate Courts at district level. Our team is making full efforts to observe the law in performing sacred duty of administration of justice. My whole team is well aware about the fact that they are custodian of the rights of the people. We all are trying to adhere to the provision of law, the whole judicial work is done within the four corner of law. Courts have to follow the limitations and restrictions of law in exercise of its functions which may not effect the spirit of law. May Allah help all of us, Ameen.
